Becca Low is a multimedia craftsperson who explores ideas of comfort, sentimentality, and connection to objects. Their current work mainly utilizes borosilicate glass as adornment to crocheted fiber pieces, however their material interests continue to change and evolve. They were raised in New Jersey, then attended VCUarts in Richmond, Virginia where they received their BFA in Craft/Material Studies. They have studied at the Haystack and Pocosin Schools of Craft, as well at the Chrysler Museum of Art Perry Glass Studio. They have exhibited their work in New Jersey, New York, California and Virginia, and currently reside in Richmond, Virginia.
